We make a mount for this. Miami police sent one to us for the testing and manufacture. They bought six of them with ZERO returns.

So in other words they are happy..

They are $500.00 and bolt to the stock.

Tell you customer putting the night vision over/on/bolted to the action is not any kind of a good idea. There are only two very small divots/notches in the action to hold the claw part of the ring set. We had the rifle here from FL for about a month and a half, so we really had time to think it through. Plus the fact that when you mount the UNS it is in a NORMAL position and not upside down as with a mount made IN THE HEART OF TEXAS. So all controls are on the correct side and you don't have to fight putting the UNS between two rails... it simply sits on top as it was designed.

And as I am very sure of myself, bolting to the barrel is a very stupid thing.

The mount we make, bolts to the inside of the stock and is held in place with three screws. The three screws go from the bottom up through the accessory/hand stop rail into the mount. To put it another way the stock is sandwiched between the accessory rail (made from aluminum with lots of shape factor) and the mount made from (hardened 7075 t 6511 aluminum) is nearly 3/16 thick. A rail that is the same as the MOMS (on the side) comes with it. Only one rail comes with it cause you wouldn't be able to take the rifle apart if it had two. With that said the install is this easy...

1. Remove accessories from rail.

2. Remove three metric screws from bottom of rail.

3. Place mount over barrel at a 90 degree angle, then rotate to vertical position placing into stock, and replace the three metric screws with the three SAE screws supplied with the kit and your done.

Simple as one two three.

This way you don't have to buy new rings.

Don't have to disassemble scope and ring set.

Don't have to REZERO telescope because it never left the rifle.
