"What is a Talisman?" "Webster" Says...

Made from ol high carbon tool steel. Completely machined on all sides with state-of-the-art C.N.C. "Computer Numrically Controlled" machining centers.
The knives are then hardened and and drawn to R.C. 56. After heat treat, the knives are sandblasted and coated with "phosphates" (parkerized), to give a non- reflective rust preventative surface. After parkerizing, the edge grinding is done with borazon wheels in a roughing and finish operation performed on the C.N.C machines to a surgical edge sharpness.
The contour of the edge is what we call VHG, "Variable Hollow Ground". The reason we do this is for strength. The tip needs to be thicker for piercing and the edge thinner for slashing. So you can do anything from piercing metal cans to slicing tomatoes or opening letters.
There is almost perfect balance in this knife because of the beautifully sculpted skelotonized grip, and the thickened blade area.
Also for our unfortunate friends that live in the NON-TWO EDGE zones of the United States, you can order the Talisman with one edge.
The sheath is hot formed Kydex made right here at McCann Industries on molds we designed and made.
"Need some luck in your life, make the Talisman you're lucky charm!"
